Approval decisions consider your entire application, but derogatory items (such as unpaid bills, low credit score, or a history of paying rent late at prior rentals) may have an adverse impact on your application Section 8 applicants are welcome to apply for apartments that are equal or less than their voucher limit (please see your case manager for details and attend your move-out meeting to get your “shopping numbers” before submitting your application).
