Summer is here!
Here are a few short reminders about ways to keep yourself and your neighbors safe during the summer months.
Pools
While everyone tries to keep cool in the hot summer months, it’s important to remember that plastic and inflatable pools are a drowning risk and are not permitted by the Association’s insurance. Community pools, public beaches, or other water-based toys are great alternatives to stay cool and safe.
Grills
Outdoor cooking can be a great time and residents are welcome to have grills. However, some safety regulations do need to be followed. When in use, grills need to be kept a least ten feet away from the nearest point of the building. For a complete set of guidelines, please refer to this informational sheet and the Association’s rules and regulations .
Bonfires and Fire Wood
Even if contained in an outdoor fire pit or outdoor stove, exterior fires of any kind are not permitted on the property, as they pose a fire risk. For owners who have indoor woodstoves included as part of their unit, firewood needs to be stored indoors and a copy of your chimney cleaning service receipt should be sent to management annually.
